QIA Opening for the Season
We are a nonprofit, community based, all volunteer group of people wanting to give back with our talents and skills to help the Quartzsite and La Paz County areas . We have have one of the largest meeting locations in Quartzsite. This organization does not run without its volunteers who give of themselves many, many hours to keep this place running smoothly. If you have some time or want to keep busy then consider volunteering in one of our many positions.
We have lots of groups and organizations that use our facilities to have their meetings, special dinners, Activities or classes. Some of those groups are the "Rock Club" or Quartzsite Roadrunners Gem and Mineral Club , Quartzsite Metal Detector Club, Quartzsite Off-Road, and Urban Painting with Marcy these are just a few of the clubs that gather at our location.
We also work very hard to give back to our local families and provide scholarships to those students. We accomplish this through fundraisers, Silent Auctions, Diners, and just the generosity of our members.
Speaking of Volunteers, please take a look at our "Volunteer" Page to see if you can help us - we need all types of help!!
To help defray our operating expenses, our Membership fee is only $10 per person for the entire Winter Season and includes many discounts.
We are now offering a coffee card for $10/month in the office or purchase them in the cafeteria this includes hot chocolate, cold or hot tea.
The Quartzsite area is famous for huge flea markets, RV Shows and gatherings. We have people from all over the United States and Canada that will winter here in one of our great RV Parks or on the vast areas of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) desert areas. The BLM offers 2 great ways to "Boondock" in the Quartzsite area - either a 14 day "free" pass on that designated land or for a small fee, they offer a Long Term Visitor Area (LTVA) just south of our facility.
Quartzsite Chamber of Commerce is great to start your tour of the area.
