The Gold Show held at the QIA - February 10 - 12, 2017, displays prospecting, panning, detectors and the La Paz Co Search & Rescue Team. This incredible show is hosted by Nature's Nuggets, Miner's Depot, QIA and Quartzsite Metal Detector Club.

Richard and Dick, from Nature's Nuggets have been working on organizing this great event for months and it will really be exciting to see all the Vendors and visitors come out for this show!

The show will be having lots of fun events too! Panning contents, "detecting" contests and some great speakers and special presentations during the show each day.

Some of the guest speakers are:

  • Terry Boswell of the Joshua Tree Earth and Space Museum in Indiana. Terry is a recognized authority on meteorites and how to identify them.
  • Dr Eric Melchiorre, a local author of a Second Edition Quartzsite Area Prospecting Book.
  • Jim Alexander will be speaking about his Yankee Fork Gold Dredge.
  • Gold Writer Jane Boyles will be at our Author Table.
  • Jim from a Snake Avoidance company will be speaking about training/protecting your dog.

The Gold Show is running from Friday, February 10 thru Sunday February 12, 2017. Please be sure to stop by and see all the great Vendors and their wares, sample some great food at the QIA Concession stand and just have some fun while here or visiting Quartzsite.
